Colours are considered active, passive or neutral, so before deciding on a palette for a room, think about how the colours make you feel and the mood you want to create.
Choose a palette that reflects what you like and your personality – rather than trends that come and go – and don’t go for more than four colours in a room as more can make it look busy.
