Threaded rod
Drill with bit the same as threaded rod
Hacksaw
Spray primer
Gold spray paint
Hot-glue gun or superglue
Pencil
Ruler
Nuts to fir threaded rod
INSTRUCTIONS
Drill a hole part-way into the side of each plastic animal and remove any excess plastic.
For each handle, cut a 5cm length of threaded rod using a hacksaw
Spray plastic animals with primer. Once dry, apply a layer of gold spray paint. Leave to dry completely.
Apply a small amount of glue inside drilled hole on animal and to one end of a threaded rod piece. Wriggle rod into hole. Repeat process for each animal. Leave to dry.
Measure and mark handle placement on drawer fronts. Drill holes all the way through each mark.
Twist rod of animal handles through holes on drawer fronts and secure with a bolt on the open end.
